As Headteacher of Bridgemere CE Primary, I am delighted to welcome you to our small, friendly, rural school. Since joining in January 2021, I have loved every day working alongside our dedicated staff and enthusiastic pupils, who approach learning with curiosity, energy, and a real love of school life.
At the heart of everything we do is our Christian vision:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Philippians 4:13
Our pupils regularly tell us how this vision inspires them in their everyday lives:
“It has helped me to be able to think I can do things that I find hard.” – Year 3 pupil
“It encourages me to try my hardest.” – Year 2 pupil
“Helps me to be resilient.” – Year 5 pupil
Our Christian values – perseverance, creativity, trust, compassion, friendship, community, responsibility, and thankfulness – guide our actions and help us learn by the example of Jesus in everything we do.
Our curriculum is designed to educate the whole child, with character development at its heart. We aim to instil habits, resilience, and reflective wisdom so that children can grow into confident, creative, and independent learners, ready for the challenges of life.
We are a busy but welcoming school, and this website offers a glimpse into our vibrant school life, as well as providing up-to-date information for parents, pupils, and the wider community.
Though we are a growing school with over 90 pupils, we retain the feel of a close-knit family where everyone looks out for one another. Our facilities include:
Before and After School Club (7:30am–6:00pm)
Flexible Nursery with options for extra hours and lunchtime care
Smaller class sizes, allowing us to give every child individual attention
Located south of Nantwich in Cheshire East, our school sits on a peaceful country lane surrounded by pheasants and horses, yet we are only a short drive from Nantwich, Audlem, and Woore.
We have four classes across the school:
Class 1 – Nursery & Reception
Class 2 – Year 1 & 2
Class 3 – Year 3 & 4
Class 4 – Year 5 & 6
Our children and staff are wonderfully supported by the Friends of Bridgemere, our parents and friends who organise fundraising and social events, and by a committed Governing Body.
We warmly welcome visitors and would be delighted to show you our school. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a visit.
